Pretty decent package for 450 channels , including every premium movie channel and sports channels. Interent included along with 3 boxes for $ 130 a month.

Movies are all year and not some 3 month freebie.

Brighthouse wants $ 170 a month for 2 boxes and only HBO, along with Internet.

This shit is so expensive.

At&t gave me $300 in gift cards after just 2 months of svc. It was a promo I did a few yrs ago to install u verse. Took the $300 and paid for half my sony bravio 40 inch. Very good deal all around. U verse sometimes has glitches in the beginning. Be ready.

I have U-verse and, for the most part, I like it. The one downside is that U-verse compresses the digital picture more than most cable providers. Most of the time it doesn't make much difference, but every so often you'll see some artifacts or noticeable pixels in the picture. I see it most often when there's a gradient image (like if they were showing a sunset, or something like that) or when there are a whole bunch of small, detailed images on the screen at the same time (if I'm close to the screen I almost always spot artifacts or blurring on players' caps during baseball games). For most people, and for most of the time, it's no big deal. But for some serious cinema-philes, it's deal-breaker.

About a year ago it annoyed me enough that I had a tech come out and take a look. He told me the U-verse picture is almost always better when using HD component cables instead of an HDMI connection. That's not how things are supposed to work, but he was right: after I switched cables the problem improved.

i am getting gift cards as well.. the kid in the store also told me to come back in after the install and he's refund the initial 49 bucks. also said come back after my first year and he's re-up the promo of all the movie channels . they only charge 7 bucks for each additional box. brighthouse charges a lot more. i also like the wireless box. move it to a tv anywhere in the house.

How much they giving you in gift cards? I am sure I am out of contract, maybe I can get some free shit. My bill with them averages probably around $300 for the last 3 years.

fwiw - I moved and no longer have UVerse. In any case.. I just went online and typed "UVerse gift" and google showed me this : http://attonlineoffers.com/bestoffers/triple-bundles?gclid=CNj2hvbUyLgCFVNo7AodmQsAaQ

Looks like the current promo is to bundle home, internet and TV - $150 in gift cards or a tablet.. new customers only. My deal a few years ago was truly amazing. $300 in gift cards after just 2 months of service.

I have U-verse and it's OK. It depends where you live and what your options are, but I prefer Comcast. U-verse has a lot of channels, but I don't like the channel lineup order and their OnDemand is absolute trash. Well compared to Comcast OnDemand.

i went into the at&t store and the kid worked it up. i got $ 100 gift card. i am just happy to have all the movie channels included at a reasonable price as well as 2 of my 3 receivers being free. i like the original programming on hbo and showtime. brighthouse charges around 25 bucks a month for an HD DVR. that is a joke.
