Makes no sense for him to stay in California, but if he's dumb enough to stay, and can afford it, I guess that's his right.

ea, I thought he was in Scottsdale, Arizona, but of course I don't know their tax laws either. He won the Tourney a week before as well, so he may still get upwards of $800k.

900000$ in taxes in one week is a big hit no matter how you look at it

I think he lives in San Diego, at least officially, there was a story awhile back that he was considering moving to Florida when California rammed through their last ass raping tax increase on the rich. Non tax states such as florida and Tx are the place for most of the top golfers.

The guy makes over 50 mil per year. I don't think he's worried about money. Just golf.

I do not understand the people who think just because he has so much money and makes so much that he should have to pay such a % rate to taxes. I mean really, just because he is not some low life loser, he should have to pay over 50% in taxes? If the deadbeats would get a job and start helping out, maybe then this country would be in a better place.
