Mind Blown: NFL Totals for Week 1

We have 4 games with totals of 50. This is insane. Is this justified? I may blindly play Unders on this huge totals...

Eagles vs Redskins Over Under 50.5

Packers vs 49ers Over Under 50

Falcons vs Saints Over Under 54

Patriots vs Bills Over Under 52

Thoughts? Opinions on these big NFL Totals?

I think its justified with eagles vs redskins and falcons vs saints , but i am surprised at the other 2 , especially New England.

this is the year of the quarterback and offense.. totals are sky high and crazy, but I bet each one of those games has a real shot of destroying that total come week 1

27-24 was the final score in every game.....

you go 2-2...

and thats 6 touchdowns and 3fgs per game...

these are high numbers... It wasn't long ago that 42 was considered the key number for NFL totals. and were talking a TD+ more than that.

I could see all 4 going over easy and I can even see 3/4 being near that at half if not over in the 3rd. Overs hit at such a high clip the first 5-6 weeks

Of those 4 NE & Buffalo seems like the easiest candidate for going over. Oh wait the Bills won't have Fitzpatrick back there throwing picks & setting up short fields for the Pats. Hmm let me think about it some more....

IMO the Pats will want to establish the run early and often this season. With their ability to stop the run as well it turns the opponent somewhat into a 1 dimensional team to throw. Which the Pats have struggled against. But, with a team only being able to do one thing it does hamper their offensive output. I like the Pats/Bills under, even with their past high scoring games. Lots of things have changed this year.
