change of address question

Moderator Defying posted a thread in the baseball sub forum that has me curious , but i didnt want to hijack his thread by getting off topic so i'll ask it here.

If you move or have a change of address how much notice does an os book require before you can request a withdrawal to your new location ?

They might make you show current proof via a bill/utility or something depending on the book.

I would say there doesnt have to be a time frame, you just have to prove it at some places accordingly.

Time required until you can play AT a book based on Location..., that is another question.. (i.e. going from USA to Canada and trying to play at pinnacle/pokerstars/etc.. takes a while) :smoking:

Yeah that makes since. I might have misunderstood what i was reading. In any event it's for customer protection so that somebody doesnt hack your account and steal the funds , i just was confused about why the account had to have a certain amount just b/c he had moved. .... my bad

Yeah, mine situation is unique. My CC and everything is in my home address in VA... I'm in CO for 13 weeks, and they wouldn't send me a WU/MG to another state... which I understand it's for my protection...

but yeah, it's proof based....
