Borgata still King of Atlantic City ... Revel should close or change owners in a year or so..

Been here for a couple of days.. Borgata #1

place is packed.. Table games.. Poker room, a lot of slot players too.

went over to the Revel.. What a HUGE waste of space !!
feel bad for the shops there... Stores were empty.. Tables empty... Slots empty.
place doesn't belong there... So much empty space.

dont get me wrong, place is beautiful ... But it's just too big.
i say it's done in a year... Or some sucker buys it, and it changes hands a few times.

was there a few weeks ago -- Borgata has no competition in AC.
I love the Revel casino floor - with the red carpet, nice lighting and brand new slots.
I visted the Revel poker Room on a Friday afternoon about 3 pm - -there was only one table of players.
They need to really change their gameplan and get some fannies in the seats soon or they will washed up.

revel announced yesterday that they are closing their poker room mid august just another bad sign for it

Problem with AC is that their biggest asset over Vegas should be the beach, but the beach is absolute crap. They need a Mayor that will get rid of all the homeless, poor, and trashy people. Then clean up the boardwalk and beach. Until then people will continue to prefer to stay at the Borgata because it's AWAY from the beach and bums.

I did pretty decent at the Bortaga ... no Whales throwing Chips though...

Long Story Short.... If you play craps in the afternoon there, you will find some characters there !
I'm playing on this one table, and I have this Old guy to the left of me.... Now a Guy walks up to the table.. must be in his 70's, maybe 80's wearing a Satin jacket from the 1980's.. and has a pinky Diamond initial ring ... LOL another Old guy walks up in between Me and the Satin Jacket guy and Buys in, in the middle of my Roll.
The guy to my left starts saying shit another the guy buying in... " Can't believe he's buying in, in the middle of the roll" Fuking people ! the guy to my right that's buying in, says.. Well what do you want me to do ?
I Roll a 7 Out !, the guy to the left starts saying... you could Fuking wait 5 MINUTES for the guy to finish his Roll ???
Guy to the Right... oh Yeah... it's My FUKING fault he rolled a 7 Out !! .. then says... Oh Well ! if you would have said to wait 5 Minutes... i would have Fuking waited !! HaHa

Bottom line, they All knew each other... the Satin Jacket old fellow said .. Calm down... no need to fight... it's ONLY money

I usually Don't play in the afternoons.... but the weather was like Shit.... so I figured i would get an hour in... never again . Too many regulars/ Old timers/ Wantabe's .. and Plus I almost told the Satin Jacket guy to get a New wardrobe !!

AC is an utter shithole that you couldn't pay me to visit again. been there several times and each time was absolutely brutal, the dregs of society hovering around like vultures. not even sportsbetting could save AC. place needs to be burnt to the ground and swept into the ocean.

yeah but if you stay in a nice house or condo in brigantine and either take a cab or the bus into AC or Borgata when you feel like playing you don't realize how nasty AC really is. Been going there for a week every summer for a long time and will keep coming back. Now if you stay at the Chelsea for a week or next to the Irish Pub then, yeah, you probably wouldn't be in a rush to return
