I would not take put Lebron in the top 10. He plays in a SOFT league, gets away with travelling on most of his drives and has never had Bill Lamebeer or Rodman smack him around. Give me Bird, Malone, Bill Russell, Jordan and Magic.

You have a point Bane, and don't forget players like Charles Oakley, Anthony Mason, and Rick Mahorn.

We're also playing in a league without dominant centers anymore and not long when driving to the lane a player had to deal with the likes of Hakeem Olajuwon, Alonzo Mourning, David Robinson, Shaq, Dikembe Mutombo, Patrick Ewing, and even others such as John Salley, etc...

How so?

The league was much tougher in years past.

Can you honestly deny that Pats?

Name some 'tough' players these days we could even begin to compare to some names mentioned further above...

If you think someone has a point saying they would take Karl Malone over Lebron James that is your prerogative I guess. Some things I wouldn't really feel like debating...

I didn't even read the rest of his point because once he said that I knew there wasn't reason to (no offense to OP but cmon now)

You can also argue that since the league is soft then thats how you have to play. If Rodman, Barkley even Jordan played how they did back then TODAY they wouldnt be able to cut it because they would foul out by the 1st half. Just look at Lebrons size, he has the tools to play in a more physical league if he needed too. If he was born in their era's I think he would still be in the NBA and be doing well

Magic and MJ in the back court, with Lebron, Tim Duncan and Wilt. You can have the rest of the world.

My five go:

MJ, Bird, Lebron, Magic, Shaq.

KG in his prime or Duncan might get the nod over Lebron. KG in his prime was ridiculous.

My #1 pick is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

True center, great defender, multiple championships, and Oh, by the way, the all-time leading scorer in NBA history.

I would surround him with Stockton and Malone, Jordan and Rodman.

Bird would be Mike Miller in his prime in todays NBA.

whites only get a hard on for him cuz they identify with him.

Just curious what you would call blacks who get a hard on for Bird? He's a pure shooter, much to the liking like you are the definition of pure ignorance.
