I would defend him too. Our old dog we had to put down in Feb after nearly 15 years

two weeks ago we picked up a Pomeranian-Corgi mix, he's 11 weeks old and ways 5 pounds. I'm worried the resident Hawk might fly away with him much like the scene from The Proposal. Thus we can't leave him alone outside just yet.

Wouldnt let the dog just get ripped apart for sure, but not sure what to do against a wild animal sometimes.

Funniest shit, he whipped the raccoon down the steps.. probably ruining its life or day.. and then he chased it down there for more :):)

Simple. Gouge the eyes (dog, etc) or kick in the ribs. Wouldn't go for the eyes with a small animal like a coon though.

Heck, round chere in these parts we hunt coons with dogs. Have seen my cuz's dog get ripped open bad enough that his ear was hanging off, though.

Hope that coon wasn't rabid...

What does coon pelt go for nowadays? My brother back in the day used to go trapping for coon and sold them. Some coon's would chew their own legs off to get away from the traps.

Idk...illegal to sell any pelt in my state without a commercial license, and honestly I'm totally against it as its too much like poaching.
