Happy Tuesday folks. Coming off another productive night going 2-0 and picking up over 3 units of profit bringing us ever so close to the +25 mark for the year(or since mid June when I started posting) I am excited about the plays today and will continue to ride this hot streak. Hopefully some of you out there have been able to share a few of these winners with me along the way. If you have been tailing me for the last week and a half then you are at least a "thousandaire" by now
While I am still finishing up the numbers for the day, as of now I have 2 system plays, one of which is an earlier game. If anything else qualifies later on I will update accordingly.
Today.......
Pittsburgh Game 1 -136 (3 units) -Two teams going in different directions right now. Pirates are hungry and will not be letting off the gas pedal. Burnett has been flat out dominant over his last 10 starts and the Pirates are the bees knees at home so I fully expect them to build off last night and come out swinging. With that said, I would lean STL in game 2 (although it doesn't qualify as an official play.)
Washington +117 (2 units)- I am aware that nobody likes to bet against Detroit and their modern day murderers row of hitters but if there was ever a time to do it then that time would be now. This line continues to plummet despite what appears to be a lot of Detroit support. Strasburg and Sanchez have both been a little bit shaky over their past 3 starts but Sanchez has made more mistakes and has been bailed out by timely hitting. Sanchez has a whip of 1.50 over his last 3 starts and has a SO/BB ratio of only 1.5:1 over that stretch. I believe that these mistakes will be exposed tonight by the Nats as Strasburg outduels him and keeps the Tigers bats in check for a tight underdog win.
Be back later with any updated plays, discussion is always welcome
Good Luck
