What was it 5k? 10k? a Full out Marathon?

Do any of these color runs? Mud Runs? Zombie Runs? Anything like that?

Would you do it again?

If you've never done it, would is it on the bucket list?

Did a 10k a long time ago while involved with a girl on the track team.

I hope to do some more soon. How well my training goes and how my knee feels will determine precisely what I do.

Did a half marathon along with a 5k & 8k last year. 5k & 8k were ok, the half felt like I might die. Haha Seriously never ran more than 5 miles before that but toughed it out in 2:10. Probably never again but it was cool to challenge myself & see if I could actually complete it.

Ran 100s of them from 5k up to half marathon (13.1 miles). Age US record holder as a teen for 10k.

best time on the roads: 5k- 14:12, 10k- 29:30

WVU, that's sick! I'm having achilles tendon issues, but still running 30+/mpw. Hoping to run a few more marathongs before it's all over with (2:58 is my marathon PR).

I think the "Tough Mudder" and all of those other runs are complete garbage. Another money-grab by the race organizers. I try not to run any of the Rock-n-Roll series races either for the same reason. Some of the entry fees have gotten ridiculous. I paid $220 to run the Honolulu Marathon in 2009 (I entered late because I didn't know I was going to be there, so it cost more. Regardless, it's down-right robbery!).

Playing 5 sports all my life, as well as hauling square bails of hay and loading diesel trailers growing up has done a number on my back. I can't run as much as I used to because of it, and the stubborn doc refuses to give me any meds to help with the pain. Guess he thinks I am a pillhead, hell only illegal drug I have ever done in my life was weed, and only done that twice. It is frustrating how some of these doctors treat you because of the pillheads and junkies.

Back on topic, I do the Komen Race for the Cure every year. My mother in law, as well as grandmother in law both have had breast cancer. So we all go do it every year.
