Well here we find ourselves in Brazil again with a not so PPV Card, and not knowing what to expect with some of these fights. It's been hard to bet against the Brazilians on these cards, and some of these match ups have some pitted against each other. I'm not in love with anything on this card, so it will be a night of small wagers and just having some fun enjoying watching the sport I love. Here we go...

Single Wagers

Phil Davis +300 .30 units to win .90 units

-----Yes, I know Machida has kept his distance and gained victories in match ups with great wrestlers such as Ryan Bader, Couture, and Hendo, but I do see value here at +300 on Davis. I for sure don't think Machida warrants laying almost -300. The main concerns I have is that Davis gets frustrated with Machida striking and evading, and not being able to counter back and try some take downs, which is also no easy task against Machida with his great TDD. However, Davis can hopefully at least establish a jab with his reach advantage and be able to shoot in for a take down or scoop up Machida off the cage for one. If Davis can somehow create some take downs, he could very well grind out a decision, or possibly shock with a submission. If he can't,then this could very well be a long night for him a Machida could score with strikes and possibly even finish. Also, we could be in for a boring fight if Davis can get this to the ground as he will definitely want to keep the fight there if it happens. I'll take my chances here that Davis can counter with some punches and score a few take downs for the W.

Tom Watson 135 .25 units to win .34 units

----Going against the Brazilian here although that as stated before seems to be a disaster on Brazil cards. Hope Watson can allude the TDs and keep this standing and pick apart Leites.

Cezar Ferreira/Thiago Santos Under 1.5 +110 .20 units to win .22 units

Parlays

3 Team .50 to win .64 units
Aldo
Yahya
Nunes/Gaff Under 2.5

6 Teamer .25 units to win 1.10 units
Aldo
Ferreira
Lineker
Malgahaes
Moraes
Andrade (scares me the most)

Good luck and enjoy the fights. Enjoy the rest of the weekend...

Marunde has no business in the ufc. Andrade would've won that fight 10 times out of 10

Not sure about Watson, but I like the rest of them. Leites is one of those guys who's been around forever and I'm just waiting for the new class of fighters to pass him. We shall see if that's tonight, but I will say grapplers last longer in that race than strikers. Good luck the rest of the way. Good start!

I'm not sold on Watson. Just hoping the TDD keeps it on the feet. Leites could be rusty is the main angle I'm playing, and Watson looked decent last time out. I do feel Leites is the overall better fighter, and I prob should be betting against him here in Brasil.

Down goes the Parlay in 14 seconds. The reason I never try to lay -450 straight up...That was embarassing.

I actually didn't hear that, but I would cut him...lol

-well Watson got taken down rather easily and then when Leites was tired he couldn't do anything, but damn Watson must be one of the toughest guys to choke out there. Idk why I didn't take the Brazilian with the low odds since I already stated I knew better...lol

by no means am i dissing Matty's UFC skills, as I bet his card. But saying it's a huge night when it ended up around +1.25 units of profit is amusing/perplexing :)

I said it was small night for me anyways because I wasn't in love with anything. However, a few cards back was for almost 10 units, and these 10 WINNING cards in a row add up quickly. Since when did units really matter anyways? Every night is a huge night to me if I'm not paying the man...And yes, also considering I only wagered 1.50 units the ENTIRE night, a 1.25 units is a helluva ROI...

That is enough of the BS guys.. wtf??? How many times does this need to go down before it really/truly ends?

Stay out of eachothers threads and away from eachother. Hunting eachother down like this and looking for the next chance to post something against the other is harassment and will more than likely be result in a ban for good this time.
