That's a good price on a matchup of what is probably 2 pretty evenly-matched teams.

Take Miami

Heat To Win Series +150
Thunder To Win Series -170

seemingly everyone likes the thunder, how quickly perception changes

I dunno about that, that line is a little more than even once you takeout homecourt advantage.

Considering OKC was +180 to get to the conf finals (Don't ask me why, but this was what it was) and Miami was -550 it seems like OKC had to get more credit for winning last round than Miami did.

Huge value on the Heat at that price.

I respect your opinion, you were the only dude besides me in the other thread that realized SA was way overhyped compared to OKC/Miami. However, I think the value is still on OKC. They are -160 that isn't much more than giving them credit for HC.

We'll see who was right. Nobody saw the Spurs losing. Nobody saw the Heat winning after game 5. Nobody saw Thunder coming back from 0-2. Miami will need to play flawless to stop the Thunder, especially at home.

As much as I want my Thunder to win, they are still a very young team. For that reason alone, I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about them in this series.

Remember home court in this series is a bit different with the 2-3-2 format. Personally, don't know who will win this series, but I do believe the wrong team is favored.

im not a fan of the nba and don't watch it but i thought miami was the favorite to win all season as far as the odds to win the championship,if im wrong please let me know and with that said how could the thunder be the favorite now over the heat.

Well the Thunder kind of cruised through the playoffs, while the Heat struggled, getting behind the Pacers and nearly losing to the Celts.

I think OKC should be favored here. Lebron still has to win that ring before I take him seriously.

Put a dime on the Heat when they were down 3-2 to Boston.

Have them at +335 to win the title.

It all depends on what a dime means to you.....I'd hedge it as I think OKC at least wins game # 1 fairly easily.

OKC ML is tough and giving 4 or more points exposes you to a Polish middle.

So I guess I would bet enough on OKC series to get the original dime back ?

Matchbook used to be great for this stuff.....back when you could Betonsports !

seems like Vegas is enticing action on the Heat (a very public team). Thunder is the right side here

The Heat struggled, but were without Bosh.

Lebron has yet to get a ring, but Durant has never even sniffed one.

You're correct, they were favorites because they had the easiest ride to the finals. The only bump in the road for them in the East were the Bull's and that ended when Rose went down. No disrespect to Celts, Sixers, Pacers but the West was much much stronger this season, whoever came out of the West would be the favorites, I think. The Thunder rocked, beating the last 3 NBA champs out of the West. (Mavericks, Lakers, Spurs)
