I finally found myself a local book thanks to a couple of guys advice on this site. He seems to be very legit after collecting on 4 different occasions with the highest collection being $780. He says he has around 30 guys and wants to expand a bit and is wanting more guys to play. He asked me to get him a few more clients and he would pay me $50 for each referral that turns out honest. My question is what would be the best way to get him a few players? If you live local (Houston and surrounding areas) then he doesn't require post up so I am thinking of going to sports bars and solicit there. I also know plenty of bartenders so they can put the word out for me as well. Any better advice?
I wouldn't just go out there and solicit. The Bartender idea is a good start, not sure the $50 per guy is Good.
But I guess if you don't have any responsibility towards these New players, then $50 a pop is ok.
If they were Friends, you could ask for a 10% Sheet. Meaning you would get 10% of their loses. Again, No responsibility
on a 25% Sheet, you would have to back up their figure... if someone doesn't pay
