I am looking to invest or open up a new business. I have been looking at some franchise opportunities. Was wondering your thoughts on franchises and what types of business you all have. Single in my late 30s and willing to move any where on the globe for the right opportunity.

cpa firm here

what you want is a business with LOW cost of sales, something where you are essentially selling your time. plumber, accountant, tech guy, etc

buying a franchise is usually a good way to work a lot and make a little, and one bad year is all it takes to bury you

Have looked at franchises for years. The only type that I like out of all of them is the Snack ones. Routes...
because they are cheaper than a store, ie, subway, 7/11, etc...

have owned a few businesses in my lifetime. Own a few web sites, and earn extra money with them.
one supports me and my family..

Location is everything... that's quite a task you have ahead of yourself if your willing to go to basically anyway to open anything...

Your first option should be to commit or eliminate food, as that's the biggest and most obvious

good luck

I was a partner in a financing group for prospective small business owners. We had approved lenders with very high interest rates willing to help small businesses get off the ground when they had no other options. We started our group just before the economy crash and ... we crashed along with it unfortunatly. But I worked with a ton of clients who needed financing for restaurants. The lenders were very strict with wannabe restaurant owners. Business plans had to be air tight. Restaurants fail more than any other business by far. Stay away from that notion. And stay away from creative financing groups if you have ESP and you know the economy is about to crash ##)

I have owned a bar and it was not the right fit for me. Made good money, but definitely took 10 years off my life. Also owned a car wash and a lawn service. Presently own a direct sales cookware distributorship. Doing pretty good presently, but need to take it up a notch and trying some new things and seems like I am spinning my wheels a bit right now.

I have always wanted to own a car wash. The kind with 4 to 6 bays.. 7 minutes for 5 bucks and a dial to choose foam brush, etc... Seems like these are busy all day long. If you can get a good spot in a growing community.. seems like a winner. I need to research it more.

I wanted to start a carwash 2 or 3 years ago and almost did.
Started a thread about it.
But the kind I wanted to open cost over 2 million.
Was not willing to stress myself out like that.

Especially after hearing some of the scary stories people like ACEDUECETREY told me.

Own a small interior construction company. I am mostly a plastering sub, but will do most anything small. Currently redoing a small bathroom in the evening after work.

I am a reo broker. Not something you can jump into though. It takes years of building the right relationships.

They are a nice cash flow business, but I would not recommend it to someone like myself who does not know how to fix shit as everything breaks on a regular basis. Also be prepared to become very jaded against your fellow humans as they have no respect for other peoples property!

i would much rather go with the "double cuddle"
although her friend isn't very attractive to me...

THE DOUBLE CUDDLE:
The Double Cuddle allows clients to cuddle with two Cuddlers concurrently.
