Might be too late but could have hosted one here? I did one a couple times and they were fun.

I also thought it would be easier than it was and that was with 2 loses before you were out.

What is the farthest you guys have seen anyone go before? Farthest I have reached was week 6. The guy who won our league reached week 10, for fun we told him to keep picking and he was wrong the very next week lol

the Host faded us... pissed me off...

Two guys chopped $23000, last year. They were into post-season. I 3 way chopped rebut before SB. We had $16500 in rebuy. We each took $5K winner of SB and closest total got remaining $1500. I had SF, other 2 had, Bmore. So obviously one those douches one.

I made it to week 17 in the 2009 season. Had a big pool with 27 people left in final week. Half the pool took Jets over Cincy (winner). The other half took Denver over KC (that was my pick and no bueno)

I went to the 11th week in 2008 and the 15th week in 2009, both times I lost with Denver at home playing Oakland and being double digit favorites (or pretty darn close to double digits) .

I see Denver has a history for doing this :)

In 2007 I think, in a 1500 person pool, i had 10 entries and went the distance with one of them. 8 other entries in the pool went the distance as well and we chopped 15000.

Tough first week this year. I'm going with either Indy or Pit.

Got knocked out last yeAr week 2 with NE at home -14.5 faves over arizona. That stung.

I was in one last year where you could lose 3 times before you were out. I tied for 1st in the playoffs. The host was a bimbo, complete idiot. She kept changing the rules throughout the pool. The week there was a tie she gave people a win. I told her "the object is to pick a winner each week. A tie is not a win!"

So, morale of the story is to get into a pool where the host knows what the fuck he's doing!

Won the Rx/Justbet sponsored one here last year. Hope they, or some sponsor, do it again. Think it went about 10 weeks, but was down to Just 2 of us, TheFalls and me, after about 6 weeks or so. Won another one that was a double elimination. That one lasted until week 13, had about 160 people.

I have never entered one of these personally. Seems like a lot of fun though if you know the group of guys.

I would be interested in doing this. If anyone knows of a reputable contest please PM the details and I will post up :)

I'm going to skip betting individual games this year and just stick to contests...
