The Atlanta Braves can put the sweep capper on the series with Cleveland tonight with a win however with Oakland being four games up on the Indians at the start of the day for the second AL Wild Card, Cleveland has their work cut out for them trying to make up the ground with a win tonight almost a necessity. Atlanta now has hit the 80 games win mark leading the NL East Divison by 13 games backed by a 46-18 Home Record. The announcers also said last night the Braves have sold over 2 million tickets again this year with 20+ seasons with this milestone attendance mark. Congrats Braves Fans!!! Medlen is 10-12 3.74 ERA overall on the season for Atlanta and coming off an outing where Medlen had some words with Atlanta Manager Fredi Gonzalez after being pulled but most sources say things have been smoothed over between pitcher and skipper so Medlen has a clean slate tonight looking for a quality home outing. Medlen is 1-2 5.06 ERA in four Interleague starts this season and has struggled at times recently with the ball riding up in the strikezone. Medlen's main goal tonight will be keeping his pitches down seeking some easy innings. Jimenez is 9-8 3.95 ERA overall this season for Cleveland with a 2.86 ERA in four August starts. Jimenez is 1-3 in those starts however receiving only six runs of support and matters may not improve much tonight with Cleveland going an 0'fer 0 for 14 with Runners in Scoring Position in the series so far. Jimenez did post 10 K's in last outing allowing only two runs in six Innings Pitched and Turner Field has been lights out for Jimenez in the past where he pitched a No Hitter in April of 2010 with Colorado. Atlanta has got the early lead both nights but both games have been tight. The team that scratches out that early lead tonight will definitely have the upper hand. Dan Uggla made his return last night for Atlanta after rehab assignment but swung at some bad pitches in a few At Bats. Look to see if Uggla has better At Bats tonight. Huge game for Cleveland if they hope to continue to tread water in the AL Playoff picture but it all starts with Runners In Scoring Position on the Tribe side of the diamond.
