Looks like they are going to cater to the sports gambler. Odds ticker running on the screen. Handicapper segments galore. Looks very interesting so far.
Seems like the kind of programing somebody like Sports Options could get involved with to really make sports gambling mainstream..
The handicappers right now are a lil weak i think. I dont really recognize any of the names of people they are having on as great gamblers but the potential is certainly there to take this pretty far..

I'm really rooting for this channel. I like their sportscenter a lot.

I noticed the other day they were showing future odds on the ticker.. They are also going to show a lot of big horse races and they will showcase the gambling aspect more so than other channels.. I am rooting hard for FOXS1

They must do everything they can to differentiate themselves from ESPN.
They must become the alternative and not the copy cat.

This is how FOX network made it big.

Instead of copying ABC, CBS, and NBC they went a different route with cutting edge programing like Married with Children, In Living Color etc..

I think from what little I have seen of FOXS1 they are trying too hard to be ESPN.

This will never work.

What they need to do is look at old film of how ESPN was in the 90's before Disney bought them and design there programing like that.

Right now they are trying to be ESPN.

Chop, you are correct. Fox News was a conservative channel that attracted viewers. What I would have done differently though is higher bigger names instead of douches like Donovan, GP, Roddick.

Yes, Last Friday nite they had two guys talking games against the spread.
They picked two college games and talked actual picks ATS. Toledo + 24 and Washington -4 both were winners.

I imagine they will be on again tonight.
