Scammer Alert

Would like to get this guy out there so he does not try to scam another per head- the last ip is the one he uses most

Goes by the name don rock aka don rockford from texas likes to use the prefix DR for his players before account numbers
His scam is he sets up agent for the free weeks and when its time to send in a payment he will push u off- most likely he is already set up somewhere else free- hope posting his info stops his scams

sir. We say up to a month. Most only are getting 2 weeks. And money needs to be paid after first. 99% are not like this scammer.

If we all helped each other out the business would be much cleaner. Problem is 2 many greedy individuals who would rather try and steal then help.

Sorry this happened Whome Rep, but offering any free weeks is really questionable pph business practice. Why not have'em pay up front for the first two weeks and if they aren't happy, get one free week transitioning to another shop? That way you don't get scammed and they don't have to overlap payments if your service sucks. That's really fair and let's be honest, if they say no you don't want that business anyway. :103631605

Am I the only one that thinks using a free week/month to nab business sounds greedy? If you want to help clean up the business as you stated maybe you should start by eliminating some of your own sloppy practices.

Not greedy, just opening themselves up to unscrupulous individuals. Why do you care so much?

There is nothing wrong with offering free week or 2 during a transition- A deposit is always required- Because of start of football we got swamped and this guys excuses slipped through the cracks- Lesson learned and you move on- I pass along the guys name- if it bothers the guy above so be it- not sure what his problem really is about-

For the record- I do not know one place that does not offer free week or two to new business- It is the same as a bonus if your taking in post up clients- It is no big deal- and really costs you nothing- so why not let the new client learn the software while importing his players- All it does is show confidence in your service and software-

I will not notify anyone going further if a guy is unscrupulous- I guess forums are just as bad on this side of the business- Guys just want to stir up trouble

Nobody is starting trouble and nobody is "caring too much". Im responding to the subject matter and giving my two-cents. I can name plenty of shops that don't give free weeks so your point is moot. As far as Mr Wapner goes I can only assume that he knew got the info first-hand since you guys probably share a watercooler. Please save all the buddy-buddy crap for facebook ladies.

No problem, good info indeed. Before everyone got sensitive I was just pointing out that the fact that they maybe giving a free month of service away was maybe a bit of a sloppy way to tear clients away from their current providers. If WH is concerned about the state of the industry it is understandable, as pointed out in his second post greed is ruling the business as greed often does, but when you are giving away free service you are cheapening the product and making everyone work harder. If these types of practice continue pretty soon everyone will have to offer a free month to compete and then we will all be stuck transferring pending wagers and balances for nothing for a bunch of bonus whoring pph agents.

Ok, those a certainly valid points. But posts concerning scammers are the best part of this particular forum. I wish all bottom feeding scum were outed here. Would save most guys some jing in the long run. I know of at least two times that running a name using the search feature here, saved me money.
