So what has everyone learned in WEEK 1 of the NFL?

My thoughts

Pryor may be an NFL QB

AFC is pretty weak compared to NFC

There needs to be an adjustment to the hit out of bounds rule

Blanne Gabbert may be the worst QB I have ever seen who has started 20 or more game in the NFL

Just put the ball on the 20 yard line instead of kicking it off. The new most boring play in sports.

RG3 will have a short career

Sean Payton is simply the best in the business.

1. It was more colds D is awful then pryor being solid

2. agree about gabbert and hit out of bounds rule

3. We learned last season that RG3 will have a short career.

4. Yes the kick off is boring as fuck and stupid.

5. Sean payton did nothing special sunday and is an average nfl coach at best. Your fandom gets in the way when it comes to the saints.

If they're smart, that week 1 is just a week, and that it takes several more weeks for teams to truly identify what they're going to be in 2013.

Add Josh Freeman not being a starting NFL QB - he's just never going to get there imo.

Gosh, he really is just so awful. When I saw his line for Sunday on one of the tickers under either the GB/SF Game or the ARI/StL game I couldn't help but laugh. I am SO glad I'm not a Jacksonville fan... I really hope I don't find myself in any spots this year where I want to back Jax... When a team's QB is as bad as Gabbert, you're never safe.

What I learned (or had reinforced):
When a game looks too easy, it almost always is... Bet the other side...

Gabbert is what happens when GMs put too much stock in size and combine numbers. If a guy can't play in college what makes you think he can play in the NFL???

Anyone that played somebody else's Vikes U 7- gms has a "L"!! As I said on draft day "BIG mistake" drafting Ponder, he'll never "get it", the only thing he's got is Sam. You heard it here 1st, AD will lose a step, and s/b traded for a hi draft choice to get the QB you have to have to get to a SB. RBs are out there, no AD but what have we won w/him? Blasephemy I know just my humble opinion!
