A homer is someone who has a false perception of there team based on the fact that they are a fan.
If you just so happen to be a fan of the best team in football(Saints) and call it that. Or a fan of the best team in baseball (Braves) and call it that, that is not being a homer.

I have not bragged about the Saints in 2 years.
You did not hear me singing the Saints praises or saying dumb stuff like the Saints would go to the Super Bowl last season.
Because im a realist.
The reason I am saying it now is because its a legit opinion that will soon be shared by many.
I just so happened to be in on sooner then everyone else.
I started a thread a month ago telling everyone the Saints would have a top 10 defense this season.
Once the talking heads start catching on you guys will come along.
