[h=2]We Shall Never Forget (9-11 Tribute)[/h] Let the world always remember,
That fateful day in September,
And the ones who answered duty's call,
Should be remembered by us all.

Who left the comfort of their home,
To face perils as yet unknown,
An embodiment of goodness on a day,
When men's hearts had gone astray.

Sons and daughters like me and you,
Who never questioned what they had to do,
Who by example, were a source of hope,
And strength to others who could not cope.

Heroes that would not turn their back,
With determination that would not crack,
Who bound together in their ranks,
And asking not a word of thanks.

Men who bravely gave their lives,
Whose orphaned kids and widowed wives,
Can proudly look back on their dad,
Who gave this country all they had.

Actions taken without regret,
Heroisms we shall never forget,
The ones who paid the ultimate price,
Let's never forget their sacrifice.

And never forget the ones no longer here,
Who fought for the freedoms we all hold dear,
And may their memory never wane,
Lest their sacrifices be in vain.

09-30-10a.

it was all happening about this time 12 years ago, damn.

was in my office oblivious to what's going on when a client called to cancel his 10 AM appointment. Said a plane flew into the WTC and he was going to church instead. I tried logging on to a news site, any news site, but it was like the whole internet was down (serious overload, especially back in 2001)

walked across the street and watched a 2nd plane hit, tried to get my kids out of school. I figured we were at war, and maybe schools would be some of their targets. Nobody knew what was going on at the time.

watched TV for about 3 straight days. I can still see the people looking for loved ones, heartbreaking

I was a first year college student MSU-Mankato...a stoner friend of mine left me a message from his mom's basement that the IDS tower in the Twin Cities had just been hit by an airplane....once I got in front of a TV I could not believe what I seen. Was at a lost for words. Stoner friend however is still in his Mom's basement, 12 years later.

God Bless.

I lived in New Jersey at the time; was having wires removed from my mouth. Thought it was going to be a great day until the towers were attacked. Could not make or receive cell phone calls for a day.

I know I will not forget it as I was in las Vegas at the time and was stranded there for two days. There was no way out and it was like a ghost town. I was never so edgy in my life like i was then

I was sitting at my office, my gf at the time (my wife now) called me on her way to work and said that a plane had just hit the World Trade Center. My first reaction was that it was a little Cesna or something, I asked jokingly if the buildings grew overnight. It never dawned on me that we could have been under attack. I spent the entire day online getting updates. To this day I cannot watch a movie, show or documentary about that day

My respects go to all the victims and my fellow americans. Sad day indeed, I was in high school and that's when the world changed. I believe the saddest part of this tragedy, is that there are too many questions unanswered and almost nobody interested in asking them. The official story is quite a fraud.

Is there anyway to get some ass from locals or something? I guess you can always fuk the millitary girls. I was in the marines 8 years and the biggest sluts ever were in the millitary. Some of those middle eastern girls are hot.

You can't do that in a combat zone but...I've been married for a very long time so I don't really care anyway.

One of the best things in life and also one of the saddest things, is the line....time heals everything, which is true.

I remember being in my hometown that night, a town of 1,000 people or so and waiting in a line 3 blocks long to fill up my truck. Nobody knew what to think.
