Recently I heard some guys I know that took some shots with a local and lost, paid. Then they bet more and realized that the local was manipulating each dude's accounts according to what region each was in (they were friends living in different regions of the country). That is, the book was giving noticeably different lines for the games. They apparently got pissed and (when they lost) used it as a pretense to stiff the local. Here's the question. If you've lost to the local, then you stiff, does the guy even bother? He called a joint friend of ours and complained that since this 3rd party rec'd the guys, he should do something about it. The guy basically said, "That's not my business" and I guess they all just walked ... I guess I'm wondering what local yokels do if they've already cashed a fair amount on people and then extend (too much) credit ...
