I don't think I've ever called a black person African-American and most I know in Atlanta think it is pretty lame when someone calls them that....Just like Caucasian (lame)............Furthermore, most black people refer to each other as lightskin, darkskin, caramel, or redbone in general.

You sure about that? Funny considering some of the hottest women I've ever met and been with in any race are labeled redbones and it is not an uncommon term describing women in this generation....Maybe you should search "redbone" on Twitter or somewhere else to see if anybody under 90 says it
