Looks like you're betting that there won't be a safety or an overtime. I'm guessing that was for the whole day of NFL. If so, I don't like those odds at all.

Since it says "9/15/13 8:25pm" I assume it was just for the SEA/SF game. It says no OT and no safety. I think those odds seems reasonable, as I think the odds against a safety are typically around -1000 or so.

Good catch Porupine.

If just for the Sea/SF game, I read the prop as "there will not be a safety in the game AND there will not be overtime in the game." Since there was a safety, I assume it was graded as a loss.

It's says --- No Safety & No Overtime --- which I read as BOTH must happen in the game to lose ----

An ampersand (or epershand) is a logogram "&" representing the conjunction word "and". This symbol is a ligature of the letters et, Latin for "and".[1]

This is how I would read it as well. It should be "OR" not "&" if you'd lose the bet if only one of those happened.

The odds for just a safety or OT individually should be significantly less than -1500 (I'm guessing in the -700 to -1100 range), so if it was OR the line should be less than the individual line for each of those. To me, it looks like something is wrong with the wording or the line.

I don't even know if they posted a line, but you don't happen to have the odds for just a safety or OT individually on that game?

I interpret that it would have to be both. A safety alone is not a loser.

5 dimes says its a loser since there was a safety

I understand there was a safety --- pretty clear
I also understand " & " this symbol means "and"

"and" means ---

AND (nd)
n.
A logical operator that returns a true value only if both operands are true.
[From and.]
and (nd, n; nd when stressed)
conj.
1. Together with or along with; in addition to; as well as. Used to connect words, phrases, or clauses that have the same grammatical function in a construction.
2. Added to; plus: Two and two makes four.
3. Used to indicate result: Give the boy a chance, and he might surprise you.
4. Informal To. Used between finite verbs, such as go, come, try, write, or see: try and find it; come and see. See Usage Note at try.
5. Archaic If: and it pleases you.

So no safety AND no overtime means that to me --- no safety in a game AND no overtime in the game

5dimes at FIRST was telling people the prop was graded wrong

an hour later they claimed since a safety was scored that the prop lost

they claim you were betting against " Mon 9/16 4541 Safety scored or goes OT +657 8:35PM 4542 No safety & no overtime -1013

But,to me the prop says No Safety AND no overtime

Basically, they can do what they want since there nobody to really complain too

They also last Sunday night explained it to someone that " No safety and No overtime " must happen

if it said "no safety OR no overtime" would be a totally different ball game

If no safety alone is -1000 how could the line be -1500 if either a safety or the game going to ot would be a loser?
