For domestic flights, I like Virgin America.
Forgot you asked why - I like them just for the friendly nature of the employees. They tend to have very clean planes, and I've had good luck upgrading to seats with more legroom when I've flown with them.
For international flights it all depends where I'm flying, but many of the nicer airlines offer free alcohol, and vastly superior comfort than domestic airlines.

They upgrade me on every flight.
They have internet on every flight.
The deliver things to me if I forget them on the plane.
They only thing they suck at is their flights for miles are overpriced but they make up for it by giving like 3x normal miles to their top tier flyers.
