Visiting Costa Rica, what are some can't miss activities/sights in Jaco?

Visiting near the end of October with a group of dudes and staying in Jaco for 5 nights. Going to be tanning/swimming/doing beach stuff most of the days, but probably spend a day or two doing the touristy stuff and wanted to know the best stuff to check out. Any specific bars/clubs to hit up or stay away from? Also, my friend tells me there are no sportsbook in CR, just poker, BJ, etc... is this true? We're going to be there Sunday and Monday, and it would suck not having action on the games.

They run a pretty good poker game out of the Cocal. I recommend taking a day trip to Manuel Antonio. Or one of the other beaches in the area. Jaco in terms of it's beach is not very notable. The real activities in Jaco, are drinking and fucking.

Hahaha, we'll def be doing that at night. Is there a city that has the hottest girls, or are they roughly the same throughout CR? Thanks for the heads up on Manuel Antonio. Will hit it up during the day, looks beautiful from the google images.

If you guys are first timers reduce the amount of fishing, sailing and other things you are planning to do. Because it is entirely predictable that one or more of your group will only want to chase hookers after the first night in jaco. In fact Ill lay -130 one will fall in live before leaving san jose. As mentioned jaco is first and foremost a town for drinking and fucking hookers. Have fun and remember the best photos are only stored in your own memory.

Theres a bus that leaves 4 times daily from Coca Cola in San Jose. Probably up your alley, its $3.

Going next Thursday - Tuesday.. CAN'T WAIT! Staying in Jaco for 4 night, and then 1 night at Hotel Del Rey. Thanks for all the recs. Hopefully there are some crazy halloween parties going on that weekend.

UMMMMMM. I don't know anyone on the street. If you can't find that there you have a problem. Any of the guys watching cars. Just don't give your money upfront.
