ESPN's Ed Werder reports the Colts plan to give Trent Richardson 10-15 touches in his debut with the team on Sunday against San Francisco.

Richardson could easily see more touches based on game flow, but this sounds about right. He's facing a tough defense that is allowing just 3.6 YPC through two games. Ahmad Bradshaw will be relevant for one more week, though he's not a strong fantasy play in any format. Richardson is on the RB2/flex radar this week. He'll return to the RB1 ranks next week in Jacksonville.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Trent Richardson (ankle) is "good to go" for Week 10 against the Rams.
Richardson missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before suiting up Friday and being listed as questionable. Colts beat writer Stephen Holder reported all along that Richardson was expected to suit up, so this news doesn't come as a surprise. Although Richardson has a cake matchup, it's hard to trust him as anything more than a flex option. He's Rotoworld's No. 26 running back this week.

NFL Network's Mike Silver reports the Colts are benching Trent Richardson, and Donald Brown will be the team's starting running back Sunday versus Tennessee.
"It's a bottom-line [business]," a Colts source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. "Change needed to be made. Donald is our most productive guy." Brown was used sparingly in last Sunday's blowout loss to the Cardinals, but the Colts realize their season is on the line. In 11 games this season, Brown is averaging a robust 5.7 YPC and has vastly outplayed Richardson since Trent was acquired from the Browns. In nine games with the Colts, Richardson has posted a pitiful 2.8 YPC mark and can't seem to find any running lanes. Rapoport adds that the Colts "believe in Trent for the future," so they're not giving up on him. But the division and playoff seeding are on the line. They can't keep trotting out an unproductive running game. Brown is on the flex radar and has RB2 value the rest of the season, while Richardson is -- and has been -- nearly drop-worthy.
