this is still a month away. match will be at Manchester. it's still early but Bisping is the favorite here. Stats wise, Bisping is ahead. will the Filipino wrecking machine take the away win?

This is a tough fight to call. Bisping the much better technical boxer. Munoz will want the takedown and bisping is great at defending them. I lean Bisping, but will probably stay away from this one.

Everytime I bet against Bis, I get screwed. Let's face it, the damn SOB is tough. Good chin, elite TDD, great striking, and good grappling. Nothing out there he hasn't seen. The same can be said for Munoz though. I lean Bis, but this could easily be FOTN and go either way. I'm watching this one from cageside. No wager.

after a controversial loss of Machida, i've gotta feeling that he'll bounce back here. still staying away though.

Actually like Munoz for small here basically just to fade the new weight cut experience for the Brazilian. The dragon is fighting out if desperation - losing 4 out of his last 7. I think the cut is necessary but desperate. Weight cuts, especially for those that aren't accustomed, can have a huge effect on speed, which his offense is extremely reliant on, strength, which he'll need to defend the Munoz grimding style, and stamina, which can be in play if Munoz tries the cage grind offense that is likely his gameplan for the win. Add to that the cut will be a traveling cut and on shorter notice, I will probably take a chance on the wrecking machine. Pretty sure it's a 5 rounder too, but I haven't read one way or another.

Nice observation. I will probably talk myself into playing Munoz small now with these guidelines. Like stated, I don't think a play on Machidaa is warranted anywhere.
