Mark Sanchez (above) made a brief stop at Avenue nightclub on Monday, but his reception by fans was about as spotty as his passes. When Jets QB Geno Smith stopped by the club over the weekend, he was warmly greeted by Jay Z.
When sagging Sanchez was in the house, @NYNightlife tweeted he was there, and fan reaction on Twitter ranged from, “So if anyone was curious, there’s a s - - t player that nobody gives a f - - k about at a club,” to “Note to self never go there now!” and “How he spends his time.” Ouch.
