This will be my thread for the 2013-2014 season. I have been working together with VOR on a project called BeatTheLine for some time, and this is why I entered BeatTheLine in the title.
We are working with a small group of other cappers, and will be capping eight sports. MLB, NHL, NFL, NBA, CFB, CBB, SOCCER, FIGHTS.
Because of this, my post this year will be a combination of my own system picks, and plays from another strong NHL capper from the project, BeatTheLine. His record last season was 104-75-10 + futures (+24.78 units).
I have made some major changes to the system during off season. Last year I played 2,3,4 units games. This season I will be posting my 4unit games only, and they will be posted as 1 unit plays! I suggest that people who decides to tail, will be playing 1% on each game I post, unless stated otherwise.
My record (4units) last year were 50-38 (56.82%) + 33.52 units.
This was not a good season for me. I got screwed by the lockout. A lot of new goalies without any stats to look at. Since the season didn't turn out as good as I had hoped for, I have tweaked the system. I plan to have more plays than last year, as I have found a lot of value in games I did not play last season.
I have made it to show very strong results during the entire seasons of 2011 and 2012, when backtesting it. I have very high hopes for this season, and cannot wait to get started.
