MLB Playoff Baseabll

I very rarely play baseball during the season....to many games, to much anyone can win. However, when the Playoffs come I jump on it. Different type of enviroments and usually alot easier to pick (IMO)

I have one Future play so far...
AL Penant Winner - Red Soxs +120 (5 Dimes). I think they are hands down the best team in the AL and no one will compete with them. They are solid top to bottom in the lineup and have great pitching.

Tonights Wild Card game

Pirates -138 (5 Dimes). Everyone on the Reds here....Im sorry Pirates just swept them and now its first home playoff game in 20 years. It will be an electric crowd. Lirano has not faired well against Cincy (0-3) but I think he gets of the schnide tonight and carries Bucs to victory.

Pirates Cruise last night as the place was rocking like I said. Pittsburgh (as much as I hate the Steelers since im from Baltimore) is a great sports town and always comes and cheers their team loud.

1-0 (+5.0 Dimes) so far in Postseason. Im not making play tonight as both teams are pretty even. Id lean towards Tampa as they played tougher competition down the stretch...but Indians are on a 10 game winning streak (against Astros, White Soxs, and Twins keep in mind).

Thursday Play

Braves +132 (5 Dimes)

Anytime I can get a home dog in the playoffs Ill take the plus money. Medlen has been great against Dodgers (0.86 ERA) and I think the Braves take game 1 at home. I still think LA takes the series overall...but Braves are tough and the stadium will be rocking.

Kershaw showed up and Shuts down Braves bats, and the Offense helps them cruise 6-1 victory. I think Medlen is a little tired at this point to since he has yet to pitch this much in a season....

Friday Card

Red Soxs (-138) 10 Dimes....Top to bottom the best team in the AL, and I think the future World Series Champs. Red Soxs have been playing well, and Lester has been pitching well all season. The thing about Boston is you never know what Bat is going to beat you and it comes from anywhere in the lineup. I like them to get off to winning start at home..

Dodgers (-103) 5 Dimes
Ill take LA here. They looked like the better team tonight and I think the Bats show up again.

Leans in other games...Oakland and Cardinals...but not making the plays

Still looking at tommorrow games...but Leans have to be Red Soxs at home and Verlander and the Tigers in Oakland...might not make any plays

With the Red Sox and the offensive machine they are, its hard to see how the Rays are going to keep up with them. Will Price get the runs he needs? Not sure.

I like Sanchez at home today, he has pitched well all season. This game will be tight but I think Detriot gets enough offense to win this one. I look for Tigers to grab the edge in this series today.

Rest of plays for Monday

Cardinals -119 (10 Dimes)...The Cards have eaten Morton alive throughout his carrer and in a must win game for them, I see them pulling it out today. Pittsburgh in trouble if they do not win here with Wainwright probably going in game 5

Red Sox -108 (10 Dimes)...How can you beat against this lineup. Cobb has yet to beat them all season and I think Red Soxs pull the sweep off tonight.

Monday Recap

(1-2) (-8.3 Dimes)....A's bats stay hot and power them to 6-3 win (knocking of my Tigers pick), and Boston can't hold of Tampa at home (who seems to be resilant to losing with backs against the wall).....Meanwhile Macha deals gem for Cardinals and alteast I salvage one of the 3 picks yesterday

Wish it worked out a little better XS....Tigers bats woke up a little bit yesterday.
