Pitt hasn't been in the playoffs since when? Since JustinCruise was in diapers?

Bucs took 6 of 10 from Cinci this year. Pit has won 7 of 8 in Liriano's home starts and Cincy comes in having lost 5 straight down the stretch with Pitt having won 5 of 6.

Cinci is .500 on the road this year while Pitt is 50-31 at home.

Crowd going crazy. Bob Walk throwing out the first pitch (ok, made that one up) and Pittsburgh moves on.

Funny how with most of the attention being on starting pitching, hot or slumping hitters, winning or losing streaks and such for the these big elimination games, the fundamentals like proper base running and avoiding base running mistakes like last night by the Rangers that broke any momentum they were building seem to eventually come to the main stage. Look to see if base running mistakes come into play again tonight or can the teams get around the diamond without incident. Those coaches in all sports always preach the perfection in the little things and mistakes with the little things always appear to be huge on a big stage. BOL.
