Down 17-26 2 secs left and you attempt a FG? Why?

Titans down 26-17 with 2 seconds to go on KC 13 and they attempt a FG? It was missed by the way, but why? Clock runs out even if he makes it. What good is the FG try?

Titans +2.5 if they score a TD and make EP...... you know the rest.

Just wondering how these coaches become coaches? He doesn't know clock starts on FG attempt?

You just can't make this stuff up.

because they lose either way, doesn't even matter what call he makes. they don't care about the spread.

Your absolutely right. They could've tried the FG on 4th down and had 20-30 more seconds to try onside kick, assuming he made it of course.

It was odd. But weren't there only 2 seconds left on the clock? Last play either way. Does seem strange not at least trying for a TD though.

I thought there was 4 seconss lefts.. coach might have thought FG could have been done in 3 seconds leaving a second for a freak play

The fact that they missed the FG, maybe he felt the needed the practice kicking a FG...

They clearly rushed the snap and kick... he must have thought only hope was a 1 second kick and onsides. Either way game was over... it wasn't bad coaching.

very fishy call - - although the coach made at least 5 dumb calls in the game -- he shouldnt even
be coaching pop warner football

Yes they do, but it's a long way down on the tie-breaking list. A TD there does nothing except prolong the game (having to kick the XP too) and risk injury. They lost either way so 3 points for the long shot tiebreaker is better than nothing.
