First off, is it just me or do these things look nasty?

Secondly, did I see correctly that it is $3 for THREE of these? Are you serious? So it's gonna cost me like $12 (plus drink) to get moderately full at McD's?

Anyone who pays $1 a wing for Mcdonald's breaded wings deserves a kick in the crotch.

I am very, very picky about hot wings & buffalo tenders.
The other day I was short on time and went thru Burger King and saw they had Buffalo tenders.
Thought I would give them a shot, thinking all along that they would be horrible, and dry with no sauce, but I was actually surprised as they weren't TOO bad. Of course I'm sure it varies and depends who's putting the sauce on there as some will put more than others...

Good to know thanks for posting that. I usually won't get buffalo anything from a drive thru personally.

For chicken tenders I like Hardee's and for chicken sandwiches it's Wendy's. For me at least.

And why you would pay that at McD's for wings still astounds me. Call in a carry-out order into BWW or something for fuck's sake.

My wife is a wing nut.. We eat them multiple times a week...

McDee's wings are less like wings and more like mini drumsticks.. They are the BIGGEST WINGS I've had from a restrurant in a long long time.. The crisp on them was amazing and had some heat that mostly hit you after you were done chewing..

If you ever had KFC wings, they are like those, except way bigger, more breading....

Won't try them because that price is not worth it when I have carryout spots with great wings that are about .70 per wing.
However, I have not heard one person say that were bad.

I've read two interesting artciles on the subject.. 1 the demand of chicken wings over the last 10 years is mind numbing.... 2nd is that Mcdonald's intro of wings literally raised the price of wholesale wings...

Wings, not Mcd's wings...

But wings aren't horrible for you if not breaded.... hotsauce is nothing and mostly just protein..

I remember when bars had wing night and wings were $0.05 a piece. Now, BW3 wants to charge about $30.00 per pound for the part of the chicken that they used to throw away. Unreal.

I agree price is a factor, but to try them and they are bigger it makes sense to spend more.

if you want a good tasting wing

Go to WINGSTOP, i think their Louisiana rub or original hot or Cajun are as good as anywhere.

Also, Hooters NAKED DAYTONA style wings are very good

Hot sauce good for you. Buffalo Wing Sauce = bad. key ingredient is butter.

I love a good wing. I haven't had a damn good one in awhile as I mentioned before the Chinese place at my house if giving them away for cheaper than I can buy them and prepare myself, so I've been snagging them from there and doctoring them up to my liking.

I didn't mean the Teriyaki Cat on a stick they serve. I mean these are full fledged drummies and wings. Finding a few feathers left on a few wings did help to ease the mind, though. :)
