Carbon and Merge are the same thing. Merge is the network Carbon is on. The only site left that is anything like pre -black Friday.
The only networks left are Revolution (thieves who dont pay) Bovada (which is so much unlike real poker it isnt even funny), Winning (5Dimes,etc...Unclear what is going on there, seems to be run by ppl who have no clue what players want but they do pay, tournys SUCKKKKKKK!!!!) and Merge....which has software that i personally cant stand.
There is also BetOnline which is an entire story all by itself, not much traffic and they seem to pay who they want to pay and screw who they want to screw ...this is apparently decided by drawing names from a hat..

If you are to play on Merge, the best option left there is Intertops. At least you'll get paid timely, the rest of Merge is in super slow pay and most balances are bought out by other players at a % for gift cards etc.
As long as you have Intertops from before you're fine to play, if not, you'll need someone to refer you to get you in as a US player. Easy to do though.

Intertops is not on Merge. They are on Revolution but have disconnected themselves from Revolutions player base. Meaning you only get to play tournys that are $1000 Guaranteed or lower and the cash games are virtually dead. They dont want anyone dumping chips from the sites on the network that dont pay, which is all of them.
They also dont take new U.S. signups.

Absolutely love carbon.... I'm a MTT guy and there is always one available... Also they have an iPad app now that allows you to play cash games... Haven't even looked at the betting lines but I know they have Em.... Can't be anywhere close to 5 dimes though... Have a good one and good luck with the decision... Pro are you signed up with carbon? I have played there thru Aced. Deposited last month to play that Poker Maximus Series they had. Dont think i ever made it past the 1st break in any game i played. I dont know exactly what it is but their entire software setup just tilts me from the 1st hand. Probably just need some success to get excited about playing there but have never had any. Ive had an account there for years....Back when it was just Poker.com. I think i made 1 withdrawal back before Stars and Full Tilt were even around. Since then im not sure ive ever done more than min cash there.
Now that im playing live games 3-4 nights a week internet poker has lost its thrill for me. Maybe im just burnt out on it, seems like ive lost all my patience.
