Alright, another mid week card tomorrow to get us primed for a long football and bases weekend. Here's who I got:

Dong Hyun Kim +210 - Fitch gave the game plan to smother silva to a victory and stun gun is that soft of fighter, only with a judo background vs a wrestling one. I see Kim taking silva down earlyand often.

Fabio -155 - better boxer, great chin. Excited for this fight as these dudes throw but just think Maldonado is better technically at everything.

Assumcao/dillashaw O2.5 -130 - tj has outclassed his last 2-3 opponents but I don't think he'll be able to finish rafa here but will probably dominate the majority of the fight.

palhares/pierce won't go 3 round distance -195 - either palhares will take home a leg or he'll quit. Happens every fight of his.

good luck!

Adding a parlay:

Maia/T Silva/Cabral +139
like all 3 of these hometown guys to get it done.

2-0 start. Palhares is a scary guy at 170. I think assuncao got the home town decision but it was a great, close fight. Also impressed with araujo - I didn't see him controlling the much bigger alcantara on the ground like that. Good luck the rest of the way.

Right on, buddy - thanks! Who do you like for Cain-JDS III? I'm leaning under...

I like Under as well. I like both guys, so choosing a side is hard. I think the safest best is the Under. In a rubber match, both fighters should be thinking finish or nothing to decide things for certain afterall...

Exactly bro. I was thinking the same thing - Cain wants to put an exclamation on the trilogy and I feel a finish is the only way for JDS to win.

alright, lost the last leg of the parlay with Maia. This is corny, but Maia changed my life really. I wrestled growing up and with limited success at a d-2 school. I was never national caliber, but I loved it. When I finished school and wrestling in '04/05, for about 4 years I just became a drunk and depressed shitty person. I really cared about nothing but myself and killed myself with cheeseburgers and cold beer. I remember watching Maia defeat Sonnen by triangle in early '09 and something clicked. I soon started grappling again and still train jiu jitsu 3-4 days a week. I've competed several times which controls my focus for awhile and altogether live a much healthier life. It's kind of my religion, if that makes sense. Just thought I'd share - if anyone is thinking about trying mma, find a gym in your area and see if it works for you. If it is your thing, it will improve your life 10x.

Nice calls on this card man

next card my leans:

Cain/dos santos under
cain - cain win by tko in the 2nd

cormier - roy nelson just can't hang with this guy unless it gets taken to the ground, which i doubt will happen. Cormier wins by ko in 2nd

melendez - gilbert needs this win and think this will be a fun fight. This is gonna go the distance.

Gonzaga - gonzaga is a beast who knows the ground game and he has power to knock anyone out. Gonzaga wins by submission or tko in the 2nd, but the longer jordan stays in this fight the more of a chance he has to knock out gonzaga.

Dodson - hes on a championship level of fighting but its to bad hes in mighty mouses division. Look for dodson to take control of this fight from the start and win by decision

boetsch - history proves if you can't finish boetsch by ko hes gonna take the fight the distance and give you one hell of a workout. I think c.b just doesn't have the finishing prowlness like most other fighters. Boetsch wins by decision

lombard - the guy who had all the hype in the world seems to be under the radar now and i think that helps him out a ton with not so much pressure on him to where he can just focus on fighting. Lombard wins by tko 1st rd

kaufman - kaufman needs this win to stay anywhere near the top 5, if she doesn't win she will never get another title shot. Kaufman is a vet of the sport and i think she pulls off the win

noons - look for this fight to go the distance, i just think noons will pull off the win and get george knocked out of the ufc.
