I posted on this earlier prior to the death....I just do not know how a grown adult could harm a child! I have 3 children of my own, older now, but how could someone be so angry to strike a child that hard..I wish they just gave the death penalty to these people and be done with them!
Maybe the justice system should try a test study of custody battles: Once every 1000 times or so, award the child to the father instead of the mother and check survival rates.
