wow haven't seen a team choke that bad in a game in awhile I feel like. Wow did the Saints blow that in so many ways

Belichick going on 4th and 6 at the 24 with 3 timeouts and 2 min thinking he wouldn't get the ball back then NE gets it back 2 more times...What a crazy game

3rd and 7 incomplete pass play cost them the game, if they run the ball the Patriots either call a time out or let the clock go down to the 2 minute warning. When you are an arrogant fuck and think youre the smartest man in the room, these things happen. Payton showed how average he is today.

After the Saints picked the ball off, I turned off the television and went downtown. I came home and my Saints in-game was marked as a loss, I thought "well, someone made an error on the grading of this play." Then I thought "surely, the Saints didn't lose the game did they?"

How the hell did it happen?

Just choked badly

Couldn't even beat NE with talib, gronk, wilfork, amendola all hurt

Maybe if NE had collie get a concussion before he caught a pass on the final drive they could've won. Or if Belichick was replaced with Art Shell

Well shit man, when NO intercepted the ball, there was only like 2:20 left and NE had only one TO left. NE must have gotten the ball back with what 1:00 to go and no timeouts?

How did they let them drive the length with no timeouts left?

Honestly I'm not even sure, it's kindof a blur still. It was an epic choke though.....

NE made some huge plays on the final drive, even the mormon mercenary collie camein and made a few plays. Then NE scored a TD with 5 seconds left to Thompkins corner of the end zone, perfect pass...

Bellichick did the smart thing by going for it. Fg or td and it's still a one possession game...most coaches punt there but he is one of the few that isn't an idiot. Saints had chances to put that away and didn't do it.

How? They had 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning and Graham was out...

They were down a FG. That was clearly not the correct move unless you think you are some insanely low # to stop NO (like <20) Considering they stopped them 2x after that I'd say it was probably a bad move that worked out for the best.

Um what should Payton have done differently? In one post someone is saying play it conservative when they lead by 1... in a bunch of other posts people are saying he needed to be more aggressive. So what would have been the ideal coaching strategy geniuses?

i did watch the second half of this game and, i have to say, i have never seen anything like that in my life. i didn't have any money on this game and i couldn't look away...like a train wreck. unbelievable.
