I just joined this forum today, I have been browsing through it for a week or so however.

I just wanted to say hello, and I have been spending some time reading through some of the threads found here, it seems that

quite a few of the posts are about sportsbooks not paying, or folding, or not wanting to pay out on time, or have extremely ridculous bonus rules etc etc.

I myself have never wagered with an internet sportsbook before, nor after reading some of the horror stories assocated with them that I have found on this forum, do I think I would want to!

I hae gambled before at a couple of online casinos, and had no trouble whatsoever as far as being paid any winnings I had coming to me, I also am a member of a well known poker site.

I LOVE to wager on sports , and have been luckily able to do so without having to do it from online sportsbooks, I am sure there are some good ones out there, it's that I seem to be reading mostly about all the bad ones etc.

I am fortuanate enough to have contacts in a country where LOCAL sports gamblng is legal, the sportsbook , also 100% legal and licenced by the gov't to take LOCAL wagers inside of that country.

I simply send $$ to my contact, along with the wagers I want placed,he places them, and if I win, I have the options to keep playing the money or cash out the very next day... I have done both , over and over.

It's so simple actually as the guy gets a ticket from the local sportsbok, much like a lottery ticket that convenience stores give out, if your ticket is a winner, the sportsbook is OBLIGATED to pay you the winning ticket or face closure and immediate suspension of their gambling licence.

The guy charges me 7% of any winnings, any losing bets, he doesn't ask for any % at all which is great. Also, I never have to worry about the book not paying out as the payouts are guaranteed on a daily basis.... no having to screw around with bonuses, no having to worry if I am going to be paid, no brain dead customer service to deal with, etc etc, so much easier for me indeed.

The lines of the local establishments are available online, so I use the lines of the actual sportsbook where the ticket will be placed, sometimes the line movements are super slow at these establishments, and you can find lines that have changed in Vegas, but still not there and grab them. This has worked out for me quite a few times.

You can only do straight or parley bets, nothing else, but I only bet straight so for me it doesnt matter., Also, I think that the max bet is around $900 USD, but, you can buy as many tickets in the max as you want, say if you wanted to lay 3 dimes on a game, you would probably end up with 4 tickets, three in $880-$800 and one in $660-$600

To make a long story short, I am never restricted for the amount I want to lay, if I wanted to lay 5k on a side, no worries at all, it would just be that you would have several tickets to cash out , but all cashable the next morning after your event.

In the 7 years that I have been doing this, I can honestly say that I have never had a gripe like those I read on this forum, nor have I had to worry about anything, what this guy does is his bread and butter and he does quite well at 7% so he's happy and everybody is happy.

I plan on using his forum more to hear opinions on games, look for picks , analize games etc and hopefully meet some fellow sports enthusiasts here!

Myself, I am not too bad with making some $ with football and hockey, especially the hockey..that's where I really make a killing in the country where I have my bets placed as they have no clue whatsoever about the NHL! My guy down there actually follows me with the hockey bets lol.

This is how I get around things:

Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006

Section 5363, Money Transfers

This section covers money transfers.
The bill states "[n]o person engaged in the business of betting or wagering may knowingly accept" any money transfers in any way from a person participating in unlawful Internet gambling.
This includes credit cards, electronic fund transfers, and even paper checks.
But the restriction on transfers is limited to Internet gambling businesses, not mere players. It also would not cover payment processors or ISPs, even under a theory of aiding and abetting.
The Act clearly does not make it a crime to knowingly transmit funds for illegal gambling. Neither the player nor the intermediary can be charged with this crime.
The language of the Act even eliminates the possibility of charging financial institutions and computer hosts under a theory of aiding and abetting, since it explicitly states, in the definitions section, that being in the business of gambling does not include a "financial transaction provider," or an ISP.[17]

Firstly, the sportsbook in the country where I play is accepting a LOCAL bet placed by a person in cash who physically walks in the establishment and places the wager like hundreds of others on a daily basis, so the actual book has no idea, nor do they care where the guy from the street who walked in to bet with them got his money from, thus eliminating them from any problems.
Secondly, "Neither the player nor the intermediary can be charged with this crime"....the guy down there is NOT breaking any local laws, so therefore neither myself nor he will ever be in a circumstance we don't want.

All in all, it's a pretty cool way around all the hassles that I have been reading about here on this forum, and the best part is that my $ is guaranteed when I win, my personal opinion is that this is the way to go, unless somebody here can persuade me otherwise?

Thanks for your time and I look forward to more posts

Pro Line. The odds are a joke and the selection of betting options is as well.

There are good and bad businesses in all types of businesses. Sportsbook offshore are no different.
