i have been racking my brain,...

& sure cannot come up with this ever happening in MLB.....

So mike matheny could reach a unique status this weekend......

last yr....it was zito that sent the NLCS back to Frisco......

Kershaw in gm.6 vs a rookie......Hard to believe they will lose both of Kershaw's starts in this NLCS....

then it would be Ryu vs Wainwright in gm.7......

Setting up some unreal pressure on those cardinals & matheny,.....Where they would find themselves in the exact same position as '12.....

except hosting the gm.7 this yr,......

&

they have struggled vs LH's all yr long..

Was talking with my coworker who's a Cards fan and he mentioned something about this and it has never been done. I told him that anything can happen especially with our two lefties going because if we win game 6 all the pressure has to be on the Cards. I still like our chances with the best pitcher in baseball in Friday. We got a little momentum going with the runs we put up today. Gets the club believing that we are not out of it just yet!

I think Los Angeles ultimately forces a game seven (even though the early money is already flowing on StL) and loses in game 7 in St Louis to wainwright. Can't ask Ryu to beat StL twice, and LA to beat Wainwright twice, especially in a game seven in St Louis. But I am rooting for LA to do just that, I love LA this season and would love to get the drama into the weekend.

Don't think that's ever happened. I hate to say there's a first time for everything. For my sake, hopefully there aren't new records to write in the record book after this weekend...for obvious reasons. ;) I have to admit even though we're coming home to the friendly confines of Busch, I'm more nervous now than I was yesterday. Here's to a memorable game 6.

Nice math it's 8.6 runs a game bud.

Admittedly, I am far from a math genius so perhaps you could explain in terms I can understand. He states that they were outscored 52-2 in games 5 thru 7. The way I read it they were outscored by 50 runs in three games (5-7) ... where have I gone wrong?

b/c the beginning of the tweet says the "last two times" meaning two series meaning two sets of 5-7 meaning six (6) games

Tony, want to personally take the time to thank you for your selections especially the LAD plays last evening. I hit it hard after an abortion of a day two days ago and cashed everything.

Really means a lot.
