I have a friend of mine that just ask me a question that I have no clue about...

He got a call from a Backer wanting him to run a book for him... The Backer wants him to set up a PPH and manage all the clients in the book and add clients.... The Backer just wants to be the money... So my friend wld have o run the entire outfit...

The question was what percentage should he ask the Backer for? I told him I have no clue... Any help wld be great...

Since all the established PPH shops are regular members of this forum, or have advertised here, I doubt you will get any answers

So the Backer will pay the PPH ....

and your buddy only has to collect ? run profiles, etc ?

What about the Red ??

Yes Bet All the Backer pays the PPH and all ... My buddy would be responsible for collecting, paying the winners, adding players, entering into the system.... He would do the whole 9 but has $0 money in at all.... He would also be have to keep track when they get bad heavy on a single game etc.

My friend has about 25 guys that plays wherever he does and they are 25 solid guys who pays when they owe... He has weeded out his bum friends over the years. He had about 40 but has weeded them down to 25...

Thats one of the big reason the backer wants him because he already has a good group of clients.
Out of the 25 clients
14 are $100-$200 per game players
8 are $300-$600
3 ARE $750-$1500
So he is bringing some very good Money with him... He said the backer is flat out loaded but I have no way of knowing... The backer will be bringing 20-30 players with him... So the book will open with 40-60 players... That sounded like a pretty good number to me but I really do not know... Thats all I got...

The players my friend is bringing has to count for something... I just do not know what to tell him

Don't be, he's just saying to ask the Poster who use to post here, who works for a large PPH shop. Ask for a Great deal because of the Sheet size.

With a PPH, and solid players, is "running the book" really all that much effort?

He is bringing half the players. I dunno, 25% sounds fair to me but I really have no idea.

Thats what I told him Harry... I told him 25-30 sounds fair to me

25 players is now a sizeable sheet? didn't know that...

so, this guy wants to join a pph shop, not start one...

better that

he will pay 10 to 20 per head depending on what he wants, and he can individualize each account.. i know my shop has more, but we all are good for most things

I think I was going with the Combo of the 2 guys.... which was over 50

I think in this Day and age 50 to start is ok... Not everyone can have 100+ GOOD customers ( in this Day and Age )

not that I don't know a couple of guys that have 300+
