They won't. They'll say that he took them to the playoffs and give him another chance. The reality is if the Dodgers had not made that huge run after the Allstar break he'd be gone. I think he's gone depending on how bad they do next season.

Wonder how long it will take after Tonight's Game ??

I was thinking about this early in the series, one thing about post season is it shows how good your manager is and I think he made a lot of bad decisions but it takes experience. I don't think they would let him go unless they can get a proven winner..

The Dodgers loss this series to the Cardinals, where their ace, probably the best pitcher in baseball loss twice.

They only got 2 hits tonight in their elimination game.

The Dodgers were beat by a better team.

What bad decision cost them to lose 9-0 with their ace on the hill?

personally I WOULD NOT FIRE.. cause to much havoc to the team structure. Its a different game come October and if you don't think so then I suggest watch more baseball.. decsions need to made quickly and often, cant let guys hang around thinking they will get out of jams, etc.. look at all the successful post season teams and you see great managing.. just look at dusty baker, takes good teams to post season and imo he costs them. Its pretty simple imo, good managing will beat avg all the time. I did not watch the game tonight but expected the end result home team and over.. 5.5 is a crazy number, will go over more than not in october

not talking about tonight.. I said previous games. Managing of starting pitching and BP, and lineup for starters..

At the end of the day, he had his ace on the bump and down 3-2 in the series facing a St. Louis Rookie SP.

His team flat out didn't perform tonight. Not his fault. You can't ask for more than to have the best pitcher in the game on the mound down 3-2 with a chance to take it to a game 7.

This is reality and why you read about them jumping off the Freedom Bridge!

It's called work boys not work

They reported false information, authorities say, on the loan application, including falsifying McGhee's salary for a church that Fryar founded named the New Jerusalem House of God

Fryar starred in the NFL for the New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins. He ranks 15th all-time in receiving yards, 19th in receptions and made five Pro Bowls in a career that spanned from 1984 to 2000. He also faced drug addiction as a player and was hit with weapons charges but said he turned to God after hitting rock bottom during his career.

Any1 know this person they are calling God?? i hear them say dog???? Are they confused............

They have been reporting on MLB Network for a few days that the Dodgers plan to pick up Mattingly's option for next year so I am pretty sure he is not getting fired.
