Looking for opinions.

I think a bunch of guys think it's way higher than it is.

Thoughts?

I know of 5 Posters ( I think 2 are not as current as the other 3 ) that wager at Least $1,000 a game.

Alot of guys only put down a thou on 'special' or sure bets... many bet 100 - 500 as a common bet I think but that 1000 mark is scary to your average joe. It can kill you in no time and many here know that first hand I bet. I keep to double digits as a rule, never get hurt and have a ton of fun cheering on the back end of a 5 team parlay on a late weekend afternoon!

I'd say around 1% of RX posters wager real money on each of their given plays. Is that low?

I'd say a very small % of posters bet 1k on a regular basis, < 2%

I'd say a much larger % of posters bet all the games they post, maybe even 75 % +. (most people post relatively few games. I guess chances are that a guy who posts 20 picks on college games on some Saturday is probably not playing all those games.

and I literally laugh at the guys who claim to be betting 5k or 10k or 20k or even 50k on a game on a regular basis. I'm thinking they really bet $ 20 on a good day. High stake gamblers tend to be low key

Me too. And not based on their word, but know for a fact.

I say its a little more than most think because there are big players who don't necessarily post a lot...

Given USA median household income is $51,000 , I'd say not many $1000 bettors around , especially if they have a family to support .

No idea why anymore would care the amount another bettor lays . Envy?

In all my years wagering... Ive only had 3 $1,000 or more bets

2-1 and barely ahead... will NEVER do it again, felt so sick to my stomach during the loss, had bet my whole college profits for the season on that one game, so after it lost I stopped betting and broke even for the college season.

Ill stick to my measly $100 units lol
