OK, but when you take over a 2-14 team and start the season 7-0, you're the front runner for COY

do all Philly fans hate Andy? did you always hate him?

seems like having responsibilities besides HC fucked him up. He says he's back to the basics, the stuff he loves

I would agree....Andy deserves COY right now....however, i think they struggle when they start playing teams that have a heartbeat.

Philly is split on reid....he got a great ovation when he came back this year but i always thought his game plans, clock management and use of challenges were so awful, it was painful to watch. Also thought he was awful as gm...player evaluation was mostly bad. Nationally, espn types, think he is Lombardi for some reason.

I would argue that kc is 7-0 with 80 percent of the league coaches but that's just an opinion.

I pretty much disliked him from day one and it grew over a decade plus.

Defense has given up the lead in all four wins this year. Far from dominant.
I'm a Jets fan and couldn't have asked for anything more from them so far but they need to learn how to get off the field with the lead.
Very frustrating to watch .

The idea of this is just so unbelievably stupid, and that's not even considering the fact that Andy Reid already has Coach of the Year locked up. I'm going to re-post what I wrote in another thread about Rex Ryan's "intelligence" as a head coach:

"HUH?? Do people forget that Rex Ryan was going to go with MARK SANCHEZ as his starting quarterback this season? And despite the fact that they'd probably be 1-6 right now if that were the case, I'd bet he'd STILL BE STICKING with him... meaning he has no clue how to properly evaluate offensive players, because there's no way he was going to make the correct decision of choosing Geno over Sanchez. That's ludicrous to think Ryan deserves credit for their surprising start.

The Jets right now are winning in spite of Rex Ryan as their head coach. Defensively? He's excellent, as he's proven in the past. But as a head coach? HAHAHA, without question this is a bottom-ten head-coach - at best. And let's also not forget that if Ryan didn't continue to push Sanchez as their starting QB from day one, they'd probably have a Super Bowl appearance or two, if not more, under their belts. Talk about wasting a really terrific Super Bowl-caliber defense for years.

Bottom Line: Rex Ryan, with his overrated knowledge, was selecting Mark Sanchez AGAIN to be his starting quarterback. Meaning it would be HIS and ONLY HIS decision that they'd be 1-6 or 2-5 right now. It led to a very unlikely injury to Sanchez (Which, ironically, was caused by yet another boneheaded move by Rex Ryan) for the Jets to be where they are, meaning it's been more of a fluke that has caused their success.

AGAIN... Rex Ryan was going to choose Mark Sanchez over Geno Smith... that's all you need to know about Rex Ryan's "knowledge" or "talent evaluation" as a head coach, when countless people such as myself have been saying Mark Sanchez would never amount into anything more than a back-up at the professional level (A proven-to-be correct assessment, by the way, by those of us who called it) since his overrated days at USC.

The belief that Rex Ryan has any considerable responsibility for what the Jets have done this year is absolutely laughable. Let it sink into your heads: Rex Ryan chose Mark Sanchez again. Let it sink in... "

Chiefs 2-14 to 8-0, this ain't even close

Ryan winning his Super Bowl last week ain't going to change that

by the end of the year, he'll be closer to losing his job than winning COY
