No way the better team loses 2 in a row at home. Especially facing a rookie pitcher and second year pitcher, in the unlikely event it got that far. I'd bet sox in game 6, and if that somehow lost, double bet game 7. Lock for guaranteed money. Who doesn't like free money?

You're probably right. At least you said " no way" instead of "ZERO CHANCE". Lol

Matty this is a reverse lock thread.
He is a St. Louis fan hoping this thread jinx's the Sox.

As if this thread will have anything to do with the Sox blowing both home games.

Its about making money. It's also bad luck to be superstitious, I don't believe in that crap. Even if it got to game 7 there would be too many rookie pitchers in that game as I don't think Kelly has never pitched more than 5 or 6 innings. One of the young pitchers would be bound to implode in such a big game. Where would Cardinals get their hits from? Kozma, Discalso, Jay, Freese, crippled Craig who can barely reach 1st after knocking it off the wall, or Adams? :missingteSeriously, wouldn't you rather have Ortiz or Pedroia over any of them?

way to live up to the stereotype of Most New Englanders being neurotic, though^!:

I'm the exact opposite of neurotic.

I'm stable and mentally sane enough to know the series isn't over yet.

It looks like you're the neurotic one. Guaranteeing money to people??? No such thing you fool.

Seriously your post totally contradicts the accusation you threw at me.

I hope you win lots of money on the Sox, but this thread stinks.

Better team??? Really? If you take Ortiz out of the line up the rest of the team is barely batting above the Mendoza line. This has by far been on of the worst World Series in recent memory. But congrats on jinxing your team.

Many people are saying it's one of the best.

Just an FYI, Since 1969, 18 series were tied 1-1 the winner of game 3 went on to win the series 16 times. That is a pretty big percentage.

Apparently you didn't watch that PILE OF COMPLETE FUCKING BOREDOM last year hey? LMFAO @ You.

Yes, Boston is ABSOLUTELY the better team. Better hitting in clutch spots and better pitching when needed too (Lackey getting through 8th, Tazawa smoking it, Uehara lights out, Lester unbeatable, Doubront awesome in relief) Key hits by Ross and Gomes not just Ortiz. Nice walk by Drew and then great defense by him as well...AND SO ON....

It's DEFINITELY not over yet. Cards can come back and win 2. I doubt it, but it's not some far fetched idea by any means. They have solid starting pitching and if they can wake up their bats they can EASILY take this to game 7 where ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is possible.

But to anyone who's a fan of baseball, It's easy to see that the Red Sox have been the better team.

As long as Sox pitching avoids Holliday, even intentionally walking him, Cards won't do anything. When was the last time a team trailing in the World Series won games 6 & 7 on the road?
