After all this city has been through, after those cowards attacked us, this was a great way to celebrate being from Boston and New England.
Hopefully all those affected by the tragedy on April 15th had their spirits lifted a little last night by a team that played their butts off all year for their city!!

2004 was bigger and more important.
But this team were over achievers. For me personally I just like this team better.
04 they came back on the Yankees that had a dog shit pitching staff.
Look what they accomplished in this run. Detroit top 3 pitchers were better than anything NY had that year.
And they beat Wainwright twice and the most dominant pitcher in the post season in Wacha with johhny Gomes batting 4th and 5th in line-up...puhh-leeeze.
This is my favorite team all time for me.
