We did that in CT a couple years ago after a blizzard hit us and most of CT was without power for awhile

Pretty much two years running with Sandy/ Irene.

Realistically kids don't trick or treat anymore anyway. I don't think I've had 10 come to my door in the last 10 years.

It's kind of gone the way of hitchhiking.

I was without power a good week ( in CT....Clinton area) for both of those storms.
