at least at rx. I do post on occasion as Doug at EOG, SBR, and a few other sites not related to gambling....however this BS where I can't start threads is ridicurous.

I may post here as Doug2, if anybody cares, but it will be infrequent, I'm not going to switch user names waiting for the numbnuts that run this site to maybe fix the problem with the Doug name that has 35k+ posts and is like top 10 at least in posts

see ya and keep the worthless RX points.

Mods, actually delete the Doug account.

We can merge the two accounts together maybe?

The Doug user can't start threads. He has to use Doug2 to start threads.

Doug can reply to threads...

Hmmm..... Ok Harry

Doug, did anyone else attempt to use your login to see if it would allow them to create a thread?

I wonder if it's a similar problem like some of us have with spacing text on Internet Explorer...

I have vbulletin and never heard of this before.
Under admin you could edit his post count to match what his "Doug" account had.
Then delete the "Doug" account. Then edit his new account from Doug2 to Doug

Downside is I think it will switch all his old post to guest as the user once the account is deleted.

That IE problem happens on multiple VB ran forums. So could be more of an IE, then VB problem.
I'm currently running the 4.2.2 and 5.0 and have that issue with IE.
Also had problems close to what Doug was describing. But they couldn't post at all.
I cleared our cache for the forum and had them clear out their cookies, history etc...
And that seemed to help them

Can you change the Doug account to OldDoug and then Doug2 to Doug? Or can you not change one account to a previously-used name?
