What is better in your opinion? Ruth Chris or Morton's?

Are they worth the $$$?

Second question...worth the money for a very special occasion.

Most of the best steaks I've ever had I cooked myself, so I prefer to go that route more often.

Ruth with the early lead

I'm definitely getting a steak if I go, not sure about the sides... I've never been, thinking about going tomorrow.

Let me qualify my original answer.

The steaks are about even.

But RC has the better sides to break the tie.

Also Im able to eat at the original location that started the whole chain. Its the best location of all the locations.

I have been to some of the others and its not quite as good as the original.

The potato augratin is the best.

I've never eaten at either one. What would be the average bill for two at these places? And I know it all depends on what both people order but just curious.

a little low ? No ??

Yea. He said for two. I should have said Per Person.

App $15
Salads $15
Steaks $80
Sides $30
Tax and Tip $40

total $180

*extras would include tea, wine, dessert, steak toppings, etc. and not included* -$100 per person is doable easy. that's about 2.5x what it's worth IMO
