Not I as I was born after the event but I find the assassination very disturbing and sad.

RIP JFK.

Maybe all the sources that make those claims are the same ones giving you the Jamies Winston information.

You just named about 90% of the males in this country. Except maybe the rum running daddy, which sounded kind of cool to me.

Getting back to the subject... I was only 6 years old back then... and I remember a little..

It was a sad Day for Sure... I remember my Mom and Older Sister crying... I think Everyone was.

The Weird thing for me... and I'm not really much into political thing ... When I was a kid... I read many Books on JFK .. His life Amazed me.

Me being a republican Growing up ( and Still ) I thought JFK was one of the Best President's... or would have been one of the best.

Yeah he was a Few of those things that people always talk about... He Loved his Women ! that's for sure... But he was Young.. Bright ! and had some Great ideas to help the Country.

and what made it even Worst... well don't know what's worst than getting Killed... But his Killing gave us Fuking Johnson ! and you all know what happened There !

How come Richard Nixon was the only person on earth NOT to know where he was when Kennedy was shot? Rumor has it he was in Dallas with J. Edgar Hoover at Bunker Hunt's house. He was the one who benefited greatly from the deaths of JFK and RFK, and the attempted assasination of George Wallace.

Two of the most famous people I ever saw in my life in person were JFK and Micky Mantle. I saw JFK while attending church at St Francis in Hyannis while on vacation with my folks in the summer of 1962 (actually attended the same mass) JFK and Jackie came out either before or after the mass to wave to everyone in a roped off area. People let get up front to the roped off area and and he was about 40 to 60 feet away.
Anyway when he was assassinated I was 8 years old in 3rd grade. We were told school was closing early but no reason why. I remember watching the news coverage of the assassination all weekend (that was all that was on,we only got like 3 channels on TV) but I remember being fascinated by the coverage even then. I remember watching Oswald getting shot live on TV.
I believe that it was the one event that spurred my interest in politics for rest of my life.
JFK was a democrat that was a tax cutter and was for a strong military. By todays standards he would be known as a right wing waco tea partier, which tells you how much the democratic party has devolved.
