- their horrible DC Nick Aliotti cries to the media about Washington State scoring points against them in the 4th qtr, despite Oregon being up 38 at the time.

- their gimmick RB DeAnthony Thomas claims that they'll "put up at least 40" on Stanford.

- same retarded RB says "it's no big deal to play in the Rose Bowl", despite the fact that Oregon was dominated by Ohio State the last time they played in the game.

- they get humiliated beyond belief by both Stanford and Arizona.

every year it's the same story with this annual fraud of a program, but they took it to new heights of embarrassment this year.

they showed no respect for the game, its traditions, or their opponents and got absolutely crushed for it.

everyone is laughing at Oregon, again.

Lmao! They are 45-6 in the last 4 years... losing the national championship by a field goal, winning the Rose Bowl, winning the Fiesta Bowl. Alabama and LSU are the only programs in the last 4 years that have been more consistently dominant than Oregon.

nobody is hurt and mad here loser.. saw this coming all week.. had +21.. BCS championship or bust.. And they showed it... Everytime we lose a game we don't need another thread from some loser....

If you can't respect your opponents in victory, you most certainly cannot handle defeat.

Yeah but this looks like the beginning of the end. They paid for some good athletes but they will always give away a game or two. It will be on to the next flashy program now. My guess is UCLA or USC returns to power on the West Coast. Just hope the Oregon guys enjoyed their brief success.

I will agree though that I was very disappointed with the Rose Bowl comments. If you say that when you are undefeated and fighting for a national championship that is fine. But when you didn't handle business and then talk about the Rose Bowl being beneath you, that's embarrassing.

They'll be fine. Got a great recruiting class already coming in next year. Still 9-2, have just one more loss than Alabama has in the last 4 years. Only two programs in all of college football can say they have had more success than Oregon over the last 4 years. So not sure, what you guys are getting at.

Do you think the lack of focus and discipline is Helfrich or simply falloff after losing out on a shot at the BCS. If the former, I'll be curious if this trend continues because he isn't the right guy for the job. Kelly seemed to run a pretty tight ship and I can't see some of the off field/media antics lasting long under his watch.

and that was the entire point of this thread.. not to slam them for losing another game, but to explain how they've embarrassed themselves all throughout the year by acting as if they were so much better and entitled to everything. and the Duck fans have been the exact same way.

the thread where you were comparing the undefeated teams was as flawed then as it is now.. The ACC has taken a nose dive.. If Oregon would have took care of business, FSU would have been on the outside looking in.. Wouldn't have been close at all..it was a very ignorant thread as I remember, chump.. again who cares what you think... just move on to something else. I'm sure you have some rooting interest somewhere else besides hating out this way

a combination of lack of focus after undefeated season went down, and like I posted in another thread,, I'm not sold on Helfrich.. This would not have happened under Kelly... Helfrich might be in over his head here..

I honestly think they have some cancers on their team. Guys that got too big of heads. And yes, after losing the chance at the NC, I think guys like De'Anthony Thomas (DAT) are just getting ready for the pros. I saw DAT laughing on the sidelines when they were losing to Stanford in the 4th quarter. Sometimes it's bad to get all these big time recruits if you don't have a coach that can keep them focused even after losing. Chip Kelly would have never put up with this shit, I don't think Helfrich demands as much respect.

That's just my opinion though. Arizona came out with so much energy and just bitch slapped us today. No fight. Just took it. Embarrassing day for Oregon football.

I'm fine Motowner.. To a point I agree with some of what your saying.. I think there is a entitlement issue here... My opinion is DTAT is not the player most think he is.. he's not a clutch player at all.. hell his first game he was the one that put the ball on the ground twice on kickoffs against LSU. Hopefully he will move on, we have alot other players on the team you can actually count on..
